My work is grounded in these values. The experiences I create for my clients are tailored around them.



- One cannot declare psychological safety or demand trust. It must be demonstrated and built gradually, and maintained collaboratively.
- Power is always at play in any interaction. While most can see the power of owners and managers, even volunteers and the lowest-paid employees wield some power. Our own power is often invisible to us.
- Every ask demands a cost, whether it’s time, money, or attention. Those who respond with a “yes” must be saying “no” to other things. Make it worth it.
- Ambiguity about power and decision-making inhibits creativity. Who judges my idea? Who decides? What’s at stake for me to share?
- Wondering aloud invites more ideas. We cannot know whether our idea is great or not; we can only wonder whether it might be until people with the power to make it happen chime in.
